Viper 2220NC was one of the Viper Mk. IIs flown by Captain Lee Adama during search and rescue operations for Lieutenant Kara Thrace after Thrace disappeared following an engagement with eight Cylon Raiders. 2220NC was temporarily grounded for repairs during the search after it's right roll thruster failed to fire on landing (You Can't Go Home Again).
