Welcome to Battlestar Wiki!

Welcome to the Wiki, Tan.j. Tell us about yourself on your user page. We have a template that lets you put some information about yourself in a nice-looking box.

Battlestar Wiki is an encyclopedia on officially-licensed stories, aired episodes, and other products of the Battlestar universes. Make sure that your contributions fit Battlestar Wiki's purpose, avoiding what we aren't.

Our editing standards and conventions policies may differ from other wikis, especially in verb tense and voice, capitalization and the like. Please read this policy. We have an editing tutorial and wiki markup codes to help you.

Our policies on original research differ from places such as Wikipedia. We allow some research based on aired episode content, but don't allow speculation that isn't supported from episode events.

Battlestar Wiki's many projects help improve our content. Are you an Original Series fan? Help out in the Original Series Article Project. Non-English versions of Battlestar Wiki also need contributors, and helpers for our podcast transcriptions are also welcome. New projects should be brought to our Think Tank, where we hash out large-scale ideas before implementing them.

Any questions about an article can be entered on the article's talk page. General questions about the wiki can be brought to the Quorum or the administrators' noticeboard. To sign your posts on any talk page, just enter four tildes (~~~~)!

Battlestar Wiki:Translation Project/Required Translations for Own Wiki

We can make a jp wiki, however those items on that list need to be transfered first so everything is done. Some of them are done as seperate template, but they would need to be updated and mantained. Shane ^{(T - C - E)} 04:16, 12 May 2007 (CDT)

-I am a Japanese living in Japan, a BSG(TOS) fan.
-I have many opportunities to read technical documents written in English for my work, but my communication ability in English is quite poor. So, time and your help are necessary for  communications, discussions and so on.(Of course, correcting my English expressions and suggestions to enhance my communication ability are welcomed.)
-On the other hand, I guess I have advantages being a BSG fan who speak Japanese as a native tongue.
-My personal project is to make a English-Japanese list that can be a start point to standardize translated results, especially proper nouns like character names.
-I hope that a JP Wiki and its making process would be useful for not only Japanese future BSG fans but also current BSG fans, who want to learn Japanese.
