Tallon plants are a food crop grown on the Agro Ship and rationed to the Fleet. A refugee aboard the Gemini complains to Count Iblis, "When you have but a single tallon plant to last a secton, two such plants would be miracle enough." (TOS: "War of the Gods, Part I")
