I think this article needs to be separated into distinct engagements, of which there are 3:
- Events of Day 50-51: Destruction of Raptor 3 and crash-landing of Raptor 1 over Kobol (Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part I), subsequent ground-warfare events (Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part I through Fragged), destruction of orbiging Basestar by Boomer (Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part II), ambush by second basestar (Scattered) and engagement with Cylon boarding party (Valley of Darkness)
- Kara's adventures with Helo, cap-Boomer and and Blanders (Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part I through The Farm)
- The Roslin Faction's separation from the Fleet, and the Fleet's return to Kobol to collect them.
