Split idea

I just had an idea on how to split up this article (so that it isn't so enormous). Once we've got it roughed out and linked (as well as hopefully verified), we could create Podcast:Occupation and Precipice/Occupation and Podcast:Occupation and Precipice/Precipice subpages that contain all the text of their respective episode. Then this page would only hold transclusions of them, making them appear to be one big page (but allowing them to be edited on the smaller pages, should that need to happen). Just a thought, and nothing I planned on implementing right away. I still have to do Precipice. --Steelviper 10:44, 10 October 2006 (CDT)

Why not just chop it down the middle into Podcast:Occupation and Podcast:Precipice, so that we can cite each hour separately? This would also match our episode guide. --Peter Farago 13:07, 10 October 2006 (CDT)
Wow. That's a pretty clean approach. I think that was in my blindspot as I'm working from a single audio file at this point, and so was thinking of it solely as a unit. Yeah. That's a much simpler solution. If there are no objections (assuming anybody other than Peter is reading this), I'll go that route. --Steelviper 13:17, 10 October 2006 (CDT)

Act breaks

Aren't there any beeps? --Peter Farago 15:07, 10 October 2006 (CDT)

Um, yeah. That'd be a good clue. But no, no beeps in the mp3 that I had. I'm checking the m4a to see if it's any different (and also to see if it ends aburptly at 83:49). --Steelviper 16:05, 10 October 2006 (CDT)
There appear to be no beeps in the m4a as well, but at least it doesn't cut off abruptly. I've got about 5 more minutes to transcribe, apparently. --Steelviper 07:39, 11 October 2006 (CDT)
