Orion was a world that traded with the Twelve Colonies of Man.

Siress Belloby owns an old energizer from this world. Starbuck also has currency checks he held from this world (TOS: "The Magnificent Warriors").

When Starbuck is competing in a triad match with Ortega, Cassiopeia comments that after the matches, Starbuck ends up looking like a "black and blue Orion hasher" presumably a reference to an Orion dish (Murder on the Rising Star).
