Neptune is the fugitive Fleet's crisis-control ship, operating under military service[1] in 7360.
A bomb planted on a transport shuttle by Paris and his blackshirt cohorts inflicts damage to Hephaestus, trapping Major Boomer aboard. Neptune dispatches a shuttle with a crisis response crew to board the burning Hepahestus, only to be be besieged by seditionist elements and trapped aboard despite Boomer's assistance[2]. Boomer is able to assist in extracting Neptune's surviving crew during a battle, saving a bulk of their team[3] (RH: Armageddon).
Notes
- Neptune is a well-known god of freshwater and the sea in the Roman pantheon, and counterpart to Poseidon from the Greek pantheon.
