Diana was a Gemenese civilian transport in operation during the First Cylon War. Both Diana and her military escort were destroyed in an ambush by the Cylons, and 50 of her passengers and crew were captured. The survivors were sent to a Cylon lab on an unnamed ice planet, where they were subjected to inhumane experiments, in which nearly all were killed.

Only two survivors remain when William Adama parachutes into the Cylon lab after Operation Raptor Talon. He musters all his strength to pry open the door to free the last two prisoners, but he cannot open it enough for them to escape. He is forced to abandon them when the facility (a basestar) begins to take off (TRS: Razor Flashbacks, Episode 6).

Notes

  • In Roman mythology, Diana is the goddess of the hunt and counterpart of the Greek Artemis.
