The Cylon homeworld is a planet that the Cylons established as their main base after rebelling against the Twelve Colonies. The Cylons presumably leave for this world with the armistice of the Cylon War (Miniseries).

The Colonials apparently know the general location of the Cylon homeworld (The Hand of God).

The escaping Fleet is too far away from the Twelve Colonies for Cylon agents or Raiders to transmit their consciousness back to the Cylon homeworld. As a result, the Cylons built the Resurrection Ship, which allow Cylon agents to be downloaded into a new body. The personality of Raiders are also downloadable, but it is presumed that the Resurrection Ship stores personalities of downed Raiders and transfers them to a nearby basestar, since pilot bodies or their fighter shells do not appear to be stored in a Resurrection Ship ("Resurrection Ship, Part I," "Scar").
