Colonel Cade Ward is the executive officer to Admiral Helena Cain at the time that their ship, Pegasus are called to investigate a distress signal near Cylon space, as well as a missing battlestar, Chronos (Battlestar Galactica: Pegasus).

Spoiler follows, highlight to read: As the comic writers do not have to confer with the television writing staff, it is unclear if this character is intended to be the officer that Admiral Cain kills per information in the episode "Pegasus." In "Razor", the canonical character that meets his end is Colonel Jurgen Belzen, Cain's long-time XO.)
