- Battlestar Wiki was noted on The Times Online as an example of "specialized" wikis in American SF cyberspace, with Wookieepedia and Memory Alpha also receiving note.
- Nana Visitor, known to genre viewers as Kira Nerys on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, will appear in at least one episode of Battlestar Galactica.
- Battlestar Galactica has been nominated for four Emmy® awards. The episode "Exodus, Part II" has been nominated for "Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series", "Outstanding Sound Editing For A Series" and "Outstanding Special Visual Effects For A Series". - A 30th anniversary reunion celebration called "GalactiCruise" will be held in 2008 from September 15th through the 19th. Terry Carter (TOS's Colonel Tigh), Jack Stauffer (TOS's Bojay), Denny Miller (TOS's Ser 5-9), and Aaron Douglas (TNS's Galen Tyrol) have been confirmed, with many more planning to make it, including Richard Hatch (Apollo/Tom Zarek), Anne Lockhart (TOS's Sheba) and cast and crew from the new and original series, as well as people who participated in "Battlestar Galactica: The Second Coming".
