Diaspora is a freeware game based on the Re-imagined Series. It is powered by the revamped engine for the award-winning Freespace 2 released by Volition and Interplay.

The core of the Diaspora team was originally a large part of the team behind the total conversion mod, Beyond The Red Line. Differences in their creativity resulted in the majority of the active team leaving and starting this game. The first release of the game was on 4th September 2012. The team have promised further releases.
