Archduke Adama is one of the members of the Quorum of Twelve of the Colonial Empire, commanding officer of the aethership Galactica, and ruler of Caprica.

Adama's children are Crown Prince Apollo and Lady Athena.

A veteran of the Ovion Wars, Adama thwarts Professor Baltar's plans to obtain power following the Cylonics victory in decimating Carillion. Baltar enters exile with his machines and creations (Steampunk Battlestar Galactica 1880 1).

Adama later achieves victory over the Cylonics, both at Gemini following the destruction of Caprica (Steampunk Battlestar Galactica 1880 3), and later decimates the Cylonic forces at Gamoray (Steampunk Battlestar Galactica 1880 4).

Personal Relationships[edit]

Adama takes an active dislike into Athena's associations, including her romance with Cain (Steampunk Battlestar Galactica 1880 1) and dissuades Starbuck from engaging in a relationship with Athena, giving Starbuck the ultimatum of either giving her up or leaving the Colonial military. Starbuck opted for the latter (Steampunk Battlestar Galactica 1880 4).

With regard to Apollo, Adama is quick to write off his son and vows for vengeance against the Cylonics and Baltar, while at the same token forbidding Athena to pursue Apollo (Steampunk Battlestar Galactica 1880 1).
