The attending doctor in sickbay is Dr. Cottle, but there are lab coat-wearing specialists and medics who are sometimes present in the Weight Room and sickbay to render aid (Litmus).

The sickbay also seems to have the equipment of a basic small hospital; beds, stretchers, IV's, etc. The spartan appearance of the sickbay is reminiscent of a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (MASH) unit.
