The Demetrius is a ship in the Fleet.

Its name is shown on the voting tally board in "Lay Down Your Burdens, Part II".

Notes

  • Demetrius I was a Greco-Bactrian king who reigned circa 200-180 BCE. There are many other Demetrius references.
  • Another possible reference is Demeter, the Greek goddess of grain and agriculture, the pure nourisher of youth and the green earth, the health-giving cycle of life and death, and preserver of marriage and the sacred law.
  • The ship has been rumored to play a large role during the early episodes of Season 4. A partially completed set was revealed during a recent set tour, showing the ship to have a configuration similar to that of a submarine (i.e. cylindrical, very cramped). It is set to make its debut in episode five or six [1].
