In the novelization of the Miniseries, the unnamed co-pilot aboard Colonial Heavy 798 is given a name: Eduardo.

The pilot, canonically, is not named in the Miniseries.

The novelization of the Miniseries has other marked differences from the aired or sourced content of the series, such as Natasi (the name for Caprica-Six) and Jane Cally (the name for Cally Henderson). As a result, these differences makes the novelization a separate continuity from the Re-imagined Series.
